of Duties |

Shall preside over all meetings
of the SSSYFO and administer the affairs of the SSSYFO in accordance
with the constitution and by-laws. The President shall compose the
agenda of the monthly meetings and appoint committees as needed.
The President shall conduct the day-to-day business of the organization
with expenses not to exceed the amount of petty cash.

Shall preside over all meetings in the
absence of the President and shall assume the office of President
in the event that office is vacated. The Vice President must be
available to assist all committees as needed. The Vice President
must also organize all facets of registration in conjunction with
the Treasurer and Secretary and provide a final roster to each Head
Coach prior to August 1st.

: Shall retain an accurate record of all
business of the SSSYFO. The Secretary must provide minutes of every
meeting for approval and archive. The Secretary shall receive all
files and committee reports (including past years). The Secretary
shall contact all Board members in advance of monthly meetings,
special meetings, and if possible, be available for committee meetings.
The Secretary shall handle all correspondence.

The Treasurer is a position appointed by
the newly elected Executive Board. The Treasurer is responsible
for the financial records of the SSSYFO. The Treasurer shall record
all income, expenditures, transactions, maintain the checking account,
sign checks, along with the President, for approved transactions
and meet any/all state and federal reporting requirements (tax returns).
The Treasurer must also present detailed financial reports and bank
statements at the regular monthly meetings as well as a year-end
financial statement. The Treasurer must also be present at registrations.

Chief of Field Operations
and Improvements
|
An honorary Board seat whose purpose is
to act as a liason between the city and state politicians and the
South Side Sabers. The position is designed to have one person interact
with the above mentioned politicians for grants, field improvements,
permits, and other misc. items that involve interaction with the
city and state. Since this Board seat is appointed, the duration
of the position will only be as long as the Board deems necessary.

The AD shall represent the SSSYFO at all
League meetings. The AD is also responsible for the following: to
report all league activities at the regular meetings, to submit
a list of Head Coaches to the Board for approval prior to July 31st,
act as a liaison between the Board and coaches. The Athletic Director
is also responsible for all matters concerning parents, players,
coaches and spectators. The AD shall handle all grievances, call
hearings as needed, determine need and report to the Board.

Shall be responsible for the organization,
practice, training, maintenance, collection and distribution of
all equipment for the purpose of cheerleading. The Cheerleader Trustee
shall attend all League meetings (for the purpose of cheerleading)
and file a report to the Board at the regular monthly meeting. The
Cheerleader Trustee, upon approval from the Board, shall work in
junction with the Equipment Manager for any purchases related to
cheerleading. The Cheerleader Trustee shall assign coaches and moderate
all divisions of cheerleading.

: Shall be responsible for the purchase,
maintenance, collection, distribution and storage of all equipment
of the SSSYFO. The Board, prior to being made, must approve any
purchases. The Equipment Manager must be available to repair, refit,
exchange and stock any equipment during the season. The EM must
also be in attendance at any equipment distribution before practice
starts. A report must also be given at the regular monthly meetings.

Shall be responsible for the distribution
of information and accomplishments of the SSSYFO to the public.
This office will work in conjunction with all members of the Board
to advertise matters deemed printable and designated by the Board
for distribution. This office will not, by its definition, preclude
or dissolve the responsibility of other Board Members. The Public
Relations Director shall attend all organization meetings and file
a report detailing all proposals and enactments. This trustee shall
work in conjunction with other Board Members. The PR Director shall
not act on any matter unless directed to by the Board.

Shall be responsible for all facets of
the concession stand. The Concession Trustees shall provide a yearly
opening and closing inventory report to the Board, open the stand
at all practices and games, maintain an acceptable inventory level
throughout the season, organize, with help from the AD, parent involvement
in the stand during the games. The Concession Trustee may, with
Board approval, use any means necessary to procure parent involvement.
A report must also be given at the regular monthly meetings

Shall be responsible for organizing and
executing any SSSYFO sanctioned fund-raisers. The Ways and Means
Trustee shall work in conjunction with the Treasurer in collecting
and soliciting funds for the SSSYFO. A report must also be given
at the regular monthly meetings.

Shall be responsible for any assignment
given by the Board.
