Dear Friend,

The South Side Sabers Youth Football Organization is beginning their 2008 season. Football players and cheerleaders, ages 7 to 13 years of age, learn, practice, and enjoy the opportunities that come from our organization.

We are a non-profit organization that depends on the community businesses, such as yours, to help sponsor our children. Quarry Field, a city park location, nestled off 18th street on the South Side slopes is our home field which we and city maintain for our practices and home games. Your sponsorship would help us with expenses such as landscaping maintenance, utility bills, league fees, referees, paramedics, uniforms and equipment. We make every attempt to be self-supporting, thanks to donations, in order to keep our registration costs affordable for our families. We are currently looking for businesses to sponsor the teams. This is also a great way to advertise and increase your business

As mentioned above, since we are a non-profit organization, we will provide you with a letter acknowledging your gift for tax purposes.

To sponsor a team would include all of the following as a Thank you for your generous donation/sponsorship:

1. Acknowledgement on our website, www.southsidesabers.com
2. Your business name will be announced during our home games randomly so that the families will support your business in thanks for supporting us.
3. We will have a 3’ X 6’ vinyl banner (with business name, address and phone number). These banners will be hung up and displayed along the fences on game days.
4. Any business cards, flyers, and coupons that you would like to have passed out will be set up on home game days at the front gate for all families attending the games to partake in.

The cost of the sponsorship is $400.00 for the first year. For any additional year that you renew your sponsorship, we will only charge $350.00.
